A little greeting before meeting us in person!
Licensed Massage Therapist
Hi! I'm Kathy, co-owner of Relief & Relaxation Massage Therapy. I am proud and excited to have my own business located here in Colonie, where I have been a life long resident. Upon graduating from Siena College, I pursued a career working in medical offices as an administrative assistant, site supervisor and eventually office manager. While working for orthodontists, cardiologists, and glaucoma specialists, I learned a great deal about the body and how things can affect us physically, mentally, and emotionally. The more I learned and interacted with people, both patients and caretakers, the more I wanted to do my part to help them.
After years of office work and a lot of thought, I made the decision to go back to school for massage therapy. I attended The Center of Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy where I found my passion and love for massage. In February 2012 I received my license. Shortly after, I started working for Albany Massage where I met my business partner, Kisha. Together we decided to venture out and start our own practice. Although this has been a challenging endeavor, it has also been fun and exciting. I look forward to what the future holds for us!
In my massage practice I look forward to spending time with each client, listening to their needs and helping them to the best of my ability. I combine Swedish massage, Myofascial Release, neuromuscular therapy and sports massage techniques to create a unique massage experience.
If I had to choose a favorite massage style, it would be prenatal. I enjoy giving pregnant women time to relax, as well as helping minimize or prevent some of the aches and pains that come with pregnancy.

Hi! My name is Kisha, co-owner of Relief & Relaxation Massage Therapy. I come from a small town called Oxford, NY where I grew up with a large and loving family. Upon graduating high school, I studied the performing arts. Music is my first love and always will be. After traveling and singing in many different places, I decided to attend Morrisville State College where I found my second love, Massage Therapy. (Don't get me wrong... I certainly love massage just as much as I love singing!)
Following college graduation and passing the state licensing exam, I moved to Albany in hopes of finding a good job that supplemented my career goals. It didn't take long to finally land a job as a massage therapist at Albany Massage where I practiced for about 2 years. At Albany Massage I learned what it takes to be a good massage therapist, and gained the skills needed to manage a successful business. During this time I was also hired by Dr. Kerstin Medwin where I was able to do part time work as a chiropractic assistant and receptionist. I am grateful for the years I spent learning from all the women who help run and manage Elevate Albany Wellness.
In my massage practice I strive to help people live happy, active, pain reduced lives. It is my goal to help clients to the best of my ability, and make sure they receive a one of a kind massage experience. I use general therapeutic massage techniques along with Shiatsu, Thai, and a number of other modalities to supplement sessions if needed.
Opening up this business, with co-owner Kathy Nadeau, has been an experience and a half and I'm more than excited to see what the future holds for the business and massage practice!
In addition to owning a business I also enjoy doing other human activities such as being in nature, hiking, meditating, climbing, laughing, loving and being happy!

Licensed Massage Therapist
Hi! My name is Drew Rossback. I'm a licensed massage therapist and certified Rolfer here at Relief & Relaxation Massage Therapy. I grew up in Westerlo, NY with three awesome siblings and two hilarious parents! When I was about twelve years old I heard massage therapy was actually a career and knew that it was the exact path my life was intended to take. After high school, I attended Morrisville State College to study the craft of Massage Therapy. Following my gain of an associates degree in applied science, I became a licensed massage therapist in New York state and immediately started working for Bodywork Professionals. Here I was introduced to a powerful and effective technique called Rolfing-Structural Integration®. One session of this specific technique blew me away and dissolved my pain completely in under an hour. My passion and calling changed suddenly that day, and within a few years of practicing massage at Bodywork Professionals and Complexions Spa, I started on the road to become a certified Rolfer.
To become a certified Rolfer, I had to undergo intensive training for six months in the lovely and charming town of Boulder, Colorado. Following this in-depth training, I proudly became a certified on September 30th, 2016 and couldn't be happier!
It is my goal in every session to do my best to help clients with their needs. Spreading relief of aches and pains makes the world a brighter, happier place and I couldn't be more honored to help others feel good!

Hi! I’m Dawn, a “newly-minted” massage therapist and proud graduate of the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy located in Colonie, NY. I am profoundly grateful to have received the calling to Massage Therapy at this point in my life, following other fulfilling career paths along the way. I bring a background in mental
health, social work, music, and business to this next, wonderful vocation as a massage therapist. I am a resident of Niskayuna, where I live with my husband, son, daughter and scruffy little pup, Archie. When not at Relief and Relaxation Massage Therapy, you might find me walking in the forest, gardening, or camped out in a comfy chair reading a good book.
I feel privileged to join Kathy, Kisha and Drew in their therapeutic practice. Each of them has so much to offer, and I cannot wait to complement the offerings at this group practice with my own blend of therapy. In my practice, I offer clients a synthesis of various therapeutic massage techniques as prompted by each individual’s needs. These techniques include Swedish and Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Techniques, Muscle Energy Techniques, Myofacial Release, and Shiatsu. I have a particular interest in the effectiveness and science behind Myofacial Release, and will be entering intensive further study in this area in March 2018 at the John Barnes Myofacial Release Seminars in Sedona, Arizona. I also enjoy offering 15-minute chair and/or table massage on-site for businesses interested in helping employees overcome muscular aches and pains that result directly from their repetitive postures and movements at work. See our services page to find out more!
My hope for each of my clients is that they will come to know better health by using massage as a part of their ongoing self-care. Together, we will work with your particular therapeutic goals, and craft a massage protocol that works best for you. Health is a lifelong journey, and it is worth the time you take to preserve it!
